This file is a basic overview of each of the 5 game modes supported in SSGM, listing what they do.



1 - All Out War, aka C&C Mode.

Normal gameplay. All vehicles and characters are allowed unless disabled through the disable list.

Buildings can be killed by default.

Beacons are allowed by default.

Crates are enabled by default.

Spawn Weapons are enabled by default.

All buildings are enabled by default.




2 - Capture The Flag.

Basic CTF mode. Steal the flag from the enemy base while protecting your own.

Vehicles are disabled.

All buildings are invincible and give no points.

Beacons are disabled.

Crates are enabled by default, though some crates will never appear.

Spawn Weapons are always disabled, no way to enable them.

Beacons are always disabled, no way to enable them.

Base defenses ignore players.




3 - Snipers Only.

Your basic sniping mode. Only 500 and 1000 snipers are allowed, no pics or raveshaws.

If you buy a non sniper character, you are turned into the 500 sniper of your team.

All buildings except the Barracks and Hand of Nod are destroyed when the game starts,
however they are destroyed in a way that makes them look alive, except they don't function.

Remaining buildings are invincible and give no points.

Crates are always disabled, no way to enable them.

Spawn Weapons are always disabled, no way to enable them.

Beacons are always disabled, no way to enable them.

Base defenses ignore players.

Players will not have any kind of C4, however they will have pistols.




4 - 500 Snipers Only.

500 sniping mode. Only 500 snipers are allowed, no 1000 snipers, pics or raveshaws.

If you buy a non 500 sniper character, you are turned into the 500 sniper of your team.

All buildings except the Barracks and Hand of Nod are destroyed when the game starts,

5 - Infantry Only.

Infantry only mode. Since I consider building destruction to be part of infantry only, it is enabled by default,
as are beacons. However both of these can be disabled through additional ssgm.ini options.

Vehicle factories are destroyed as soon as the map starts.

Beacons are allowed by default.

Crates are enabled by default, some crates will never appear.

Spawn Weapons are enabled by default.

Base defenses ignore players.
